Socks in the City

Yes, finally!! A knitting podcast dedicated exclusively to sock knitting. Toe up, cuff down, fingering, sport, worsted, handpainted, self-striping or solid, you'll find it all here!

The Podcasts

La, la, la! I'm loving the knee socks! Currently OTN are the new Bettie's Lace Stockings in STR, and up and coming are Opal Ron, Tofutsies lace and Fixation embroidered knee socks--just in time for spring, eh? Go back to the libsyn site and see the previous Video Podcast--it didn't show up in itunes, though I don't know why. It's in MP4 format. Keep on knitting socks!

What's up with the huge WAV file? I'd love to listen, but sadly my Zune can't play that format. Any chance you'll re-release this episode as an MP3?

Where do I go to get the podcast from libsyn and where can I get it as an mp4 file which is what I need it as to play it on my psp? Love listening to you and glad to hear from you again. Just don't want to be tied to the computer to watch or listen.

OMG!!! I never expected to find a podcast from someone in Auburn! I've had a link to your podcast in my favorites for... a long time, thinking I would check it out when I was all caught up with my other favs and when I saw the title "Socks in the City" I assumed it was NYC. Well, I was pleasantly surprised today when I downloaded and heard you were in Auburn! I know where Auburn is! I have family in the area! I've gone boating on Cayuga Lake for over 20 years, spend a good deal of time up there in the summer, I'll definately go back and have a listen to your old episodes now. Very cool podcast, I like your easy going style, always good to hear what other people are thinking about knitting. I have a question for you though... Where do you go to buy your yarn in Auburn? We have a great LYS in Binghamton (I live in Conklin) but I don't know of any other than Michael's in Auburn. Would love to know your fav.
